Our Story
It all started with a swipe right and a bit of fate! James was only in the area for a weekend, but that was just enough time for Tinder to work its magic.
Our first-ever date took place in Windsor over an Italian dinner, unknowingly setting the tone for our love of good food, great wine, and even better company. Little did we know, five years later, Windsor would be the place we’d call home.
Our story has been equal parts chaos, laughter, and love! Like Beckii accidentally meeting James’ parents at 5:30 AM, nearly knocking him out with a fishing weight, and James’ failed attempt to sneak past her dad, Andy (they hit it off instantly anyway)!
From sun-soaked beaches in Corfu to spontaneous getaways, every trip has been an adventure, and every moment together has felt like home. Whether over Italian dinners, late-night laughter, or unforgettable memories, we’ve always known... this was meant to be. ❤️
Fast forward to Beckii’s surprise 30th birthday, where James, dressed as Prince Charming, got down on one knee in front of our friends and family, leaving Cinderella speechless (for once).
Cue happy tears and the start of our forever 💙✨

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by May 1st 2025, help us make sure there’s a seat (and plenty of wine!) with your name on it! 🍷
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones, we really do! But for one day only, we kindly ask that you leave them at home to enjoy a well-earned break (and maybe a glass of wine or two). Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate the children named on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding, we can’t wait to party with you!
Can I bring a date?
Plus ones? If you’ve got one, you’ll find their name on the RSVP. If not… well, looks like it’s just you, us and the dance floor! 😉
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We want everyone to enjoy a delicious meal, so all dietary requirements and preferences will be happily accommodated to by our caterers. Please be sure to let us know of any dietary needs when you RSVP so we can make the necessary arrangements!
What will the weather be like?
Join us in manifesting the ultimate British dream...a sunny August day! 🤞🏻☀️ We’re dreaming of blue skies for our woodland ceremony, so send all your good vibes (and maybe a little bribery to the weather gods) our way!
Where should I park?
Good news, there’s plenty of free parking at Stratton Court Barn! Even better, you can leave your car overnight if the dance floor (or the bar) gets the best of you. Just make sure to rescue it by 11 AM the next day.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We’ve got a VIP golf cart for anyone who needs a little extra help getting to and from the woodland. Think of it as your personal chariot (minus the horses). And don’t worry, there are accessible toilet facilities too, we’ve got you covered!
What should I wear?
La dolce vita awaits! Our dress code is Formal Summer Elegance. Think effortless Italian charm, like an evening in the rolling hills of Tuscany, bathed in golden sunlight, a gentle breeze in the air, and a glass of vino in hand. Light, airy fabrics, soft pastels, and a touch of Mediterranean flair are most welcome!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather willing! 🤞) followed by a reception that flows between the charming courtyard and the cozy barns so you’ll get the best of both worlds!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Our wedding begins with a short, scenic walk to the woods, adding a little adventure to the day! To keep things comfortable and carefree, we recommend footwear that’s up for the journey, whether that’s a sturdy heel, elegant sandals, or stylish flats. Choose something you’ll love walking (and dancing!) in, so you can enjoy every magical moment from start to finish!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to capture and share special moments with us on our photo app. However, we kindly ask that you join us in being fully present during our ceremony by keeping phones and cameras tucked away. Let’s enjoy this beautiful moment together, unplugged and uninterrupted!
What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 12pm, and you’ll be guided to your woodland seats at 12:30pm The ‘I dos’ happen at 1pm, so don’t be late unless you fancy making a dramatic entrance.
For our evening guests, the party kicks off at 7pm dancing shoes and questionable moves encouraged!
What time will the reception end?
After an amazing day celebrating together, it’ll eventually be time to say our goodbyes (for now!). Please make sure taxis or lifts are arranged for 1am, so no one is left stranded or trying to hitch a ride with the DJ!
